We had Katie at the doctor this week. She hasn't been there for a year. She has started to line things up again. She has adhd and pdd. We know this definitely has something to do with food. She has been off of milk and eggs for about 1 year. If you saw her before and after you wouldn't believe it. You probably still wouldn't believe us if you met her. I feel kind of weird putting her in the autistic spectrum (the dr. said very low on the autistic scale; she actually didn't even seem to want to put her on that scale.). Katie doesn't seem like it. But there is a "difference". She has been getting somewhat irritable lately. We are keeping her off of peanut butter for 3 weeks and then introducing it back into her diet. She seemed to be craving it. The dr. mentioned putting her on a wheat/gluten free diet but wanted to try the pb first. I also think there are other foods that are bothering her...I have my ideas of what they are. Her next appt. is in June.
We just sent off her urine test that should show us alot. (over $200.00!!!)
I was just talking to Ed about the time we were at the pediatrician and I had started to tell him about how hyper she was and the dr. cut me off. Telling me to wait until she was 6 or 7. I thank the Lord that I didn't listen to him. I wonder how many people have listened to drs. that say this??
These verses came to me yesterday morning:
Phillippians 3: 6-8
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
**And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things.
We went to church last night for revival meetings and the preacher talked about thanksgiving. (I was not a very happy person yesterday before the meeting)
I am so thankful that Katie is not worse. I am thankful that we figured out her allergy to milk because I believe she wouldn't be the way she is today. I think she would have taken a spiral downhill. She is so smart (age 4) , laughs, trys to read, writes letters, numbers, counts, loves music, starting to ask questions about Jesus and wanting to know about salvation, also saying she has a "boyfriend" (LOL), etc...
God is so good and I have to always remember this especially on not so good days.

I'm glad that you can delight in the gift of your daughter and see the goodness of God in the midst of difficulty.
