Katie's Chinese Armor and Ana's dragon

Katie's "Chinese armor" She created it herself. ~smile~

This is the back of the armor. I have to laugh; she put a target on the back! ~LOL~

Here she slipped into her armor and made the sleeves and the shoes.

This is Ana's Chinese dragon (it is a "mini dragon). ~smile~And here, I just decided to post this lovely photo I took.

Story of the World 1 Red and White Crown

Here are some pics. of the girls' red and white crowns for Egypt study of King Narmer. Ana remembers the king by rhyming with "armor". ~lol~

This is very easy to do. I just drew it on paper after watching. I added the piece in the back.

You could get real fancy with the back and cut it out around the ears but I really didn't feel like it. So, I just cut out a rectangle piece and taped it to the back.

Story of the World 1 Notebooking Pages

I started making some SOTW 1 notebooking pages today. I was getting a little bored with the science so I decided to start these. I'm still going to finish the others but I needed a change of books for the moment. ~smile~

The SOTW 1 notebook. pages are kind of plain but I want it that way because we will be adding paper crafts and lapbook booklets to them. They will not have any space to color or pictures. This makes the pages more interesting; to me/us that is.

I will be adding them to my hslaunch page at the top of the right sidebar.

Here's hoping these will help someone.

Story of the World Lapbook Booklets

These are the labook booklets (2 of each) we are using for SOTW 1. I cut out everything and put them in baggies. Everything is now on shower curtain rings to keep them in order. I'm going to put up some hooks to hang them on. This way they are right where we need them. There is just too many to put into a binder for storage.
I'm going to do the same for the Magic School Bus lapbooks.
I was going to do this for Tom but I think he's old enough to do it himself. It would save a lot of time, though.
