Slow Motion

Katie had caught this moth before we left on vacation. She put a bit of sugar water in the bottle and it was still alive when we got back. Well, it somehow ended up into the water and couldn't move it's wings. We took it outside and it let us look at it for awhile and all of a sudden its wings opened up and it flew away.

I feel like we are moving in slow motion. Our schoolwork seems a little slow or just not as busy as I would like it to be. I know the girls are enjoying the crafts and having me read to them but I feel like we are not getting enough writing done. We don't even get to science every day which was my plan. Yeah I know, we don't have to do it every day, but I would like too. I have everything printed out and ready to go with each chapter which includes lapbooking etc. so, this isn't just looking at a textbook and writing. Katie does enjoy the science when we do it so maybe I just need to let it be.

Tom likes reading so much that he doesn't want to put the books down to write. Hmmm....I like this but writing is important.

I need to find something or someone that can explain Chemistry to Becca, it is over her head. We are using Apologia Chemistry but it's not her cup of tea.

Well, it's Ed's turn to be sick. He now has what I had. But he just keeps on going. Yes, he's working today. I can guarantee it though that tomorrow he's going to be so tired and want to sleep. He is an extrememly stubborn man.

Ben got another car this week. His other one was going to cost to much for inspection. Now he has a car that's so small that I do not want to get into it. I'm too afraid of getting squashed. ~LOL~
