WELCOME TO MY BLOG

My photo
I have been happily married (32 years) to my husband Ed. We have 8 children and 2 daughter-in-laws and 2 grandsons.
CLEANING YOUR HOUSE WHILE YOUR KIDS ARE STILL GROWING IS LIKE SHOVELING THE WALK BEFORE IT'S STOPPED SNOWING. ~dayspring~

Buddy was trying to get over the gate while the kids were giving out candy for halloween.  He could smell the candy on Ana.

Wordless Wednesday (with words)

We let the turtle go.

Ed is putting in the new floors (no more carpets!) in our living and dining room. He widened the opening from the living rm. to the dining rm. and added 2 "windows" on the dividing wall.  Now our coal stove heat will go through the house better and the rooms seem larger.
The wallpaper is gone. We have to repaint; we will paint over the paneling also.  Yippee...I hate painting walls.

Since we started this, I have gotten into a cleaning mood.  So far I have taken at least 12 bags of books + games (from our basement) to the thrift store.  I forgot to take a picture of the bags. :)  I also am praying for new furniture. :)
